This breathtaking 7 day Sacred Mythic Journey on the remote island of Fernando de Noronha is in a league of its own. The tip of a submerged volcanic formation, Fernando de Noronha lies 350 km (271 miles) off Brazil’s northeast coast and is made up of 21 islands. Only one is inhabited with a population of 5,000 people – the rest are home to seabirds, reptiles, and several endemic species. With pearly white beaches, turquoise waters, and dramatic rock backdrops, the islands seem to be the picturesque scene of a Hollywood film set and are considered Brazil’s most paradisiacal retreat.
A LIVING & BREATHING ORGANISM OF TRUE BEAUTY
Fernando de Noronha is a a protected national marine park and ecological sanctuary with a jagged coastline and diverse ecosystems. It’s renowned for its undeveloped beaches, and for scuba diving and snorkeling. Sea turtles, rays, dolphins and reef sharks swim in its warm, clear waters.
KNOWN AS THE THE HAWAI’I OF BRAZIL
The archipelago of Fernando de Noronha is one of Brazil’s most enchanting destinations, thanks to its crystal clear waters, exotic scenery and abundant marine life. There are only four beaches in Brazil with a coveted five-star rating, and Fernando do Noronha has three of them.
SPINNER DOLPHIN HEAVEN
One of the most important breeding grounds in the world for Spinner dolphins, Baia dos Golfinhos (Dolphin Bay) offers a unique view of these playful creatures in their natural habitat. Hundreds of dolphins arrive around 6am and depart between 3pm and 5pm on their nightly feeding trip around the island. Whether from the cliffs overlooking the bay or from the boat, you can watch as they spin through the air in acrobatic fashion, seemingly just as excited to be there as you are.
STEPPING BACK IN TIME
Though much of the focus on Fernando de Noronha is on the beach and the surrounding marine life, there is plenty to do while on land. A walk through the capital Vila los Remedios is a must while on the islands. The tiny village will give you a look at times gone by with its cobblestone streets and remnants of old forts and 18th century houses.
NO CARS, ONLY DUNE BUGGIES
As there are no cars on the island, those not interested in taking in the island on foot have limited options for getting around on land. A fun alternative though are dune buggies, which gives us access to some of the more secluded parts of the island.

Whether you’re looking for a luxurious and serene escape from the “real world” or an action packed trip exploring one of the most untouched places on the planet; Fernando de Noronha will blow you away with its charming simplicity and breath-taking scenery.
